Christmas was lovely, lovely for us this year. Despite the fact that there was no snow anywhere and no silver bells lining the street corners, Max and I felt very spirited this season. We took it upon ourselves to engage in (and in some cases create) many festive activities including:
We also went to a neat Anglican Carol service that included the Sweedish Santa Lucia song and processional. This video captures a little bit of what it looked like.

ReplyDeleteThe Christmas "season" this year though was MUCH shorter. On December 26 everything was over and we were back to doing homework. I kind of liked it, instead of being stuck in January like I usually am I was up doing things (other than eating stocking candy). A nice change of pace.
